Fang
One of the main characters in the book is named Fang. He is a fourteen year old human- avain hybrid (that means he is 98% human and 2% bird). He always is in black clothing, which matches his black hair, his dark eyes and his deep black wings. Max would say that he doesn't talk much and is very "reserved" with his feelings. And another thing
about him is that he loves Max. That is a little
bit about Fang.
The plot of this story is, well of course, trying to stay alive, staying together, and staying safe. Max has to save the world from the apocalypse that is coming, very soon. In this book there is one extra worry of the flock, Angel said, "Nothing can last forever, Max. And actually- I hate to tell you this, but Fang will be the first to die. And it will be soon.", Angel really caught Max off guard when she said that! So to Max anything can be a threat of losing Fang, forever. That is the
main plot of the story.
I personally loved this book. Once I started reading the first book, The Angel Experiment, I just couldn't put it down! I think the main reason that I liked it so much was because the author, James Patterson, keeps throwing things into the book that you wouldn't expect. For example, the Voice is an unexpected guest in Max's head, and the different abilitys that the flock keeps getting, like Max, Fang and Angel being able to breath underwater. Thats what I thought
about the book Fang.
